Throughput of Rostov-on-Don port in 6M’18 up 19% Y-o-Y to 10.57 million tonnes
In January-June 2018, the port of Rostov-on-Don handed 10.57 million tonnes of cargo (+19%, year-on-year), the port’s statistics shows.
The Harbour Master’s office says loading grew by 28% to 7.468 million tonnes which makes 74.3% of the port’s total throughput.
Unloading has thus dropped by 23% to 272,000 tonnes, which makes 2.7% of total throughput.
In the 6-month period, transit grew by 3% to 2.316 million tonnes.
In the reporting period, transshipment of grain grew 2 times to 4.425 million tonnes, transshipment of oil products climbed by 11% to 3.178 million tonnes.
The number of calls totaled 3,297.
