GTT receives order from South Korean shipyard for the design of the LNG tanks of a new LNG carrier and FSRU
GTT has received an order from a South Korean shipyard for the design of the LNG tanks of a new LNG carrier (LNGC) and a new Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU). These vessels will be built on behalf of a European shipowner. Their delivery is expected for the first half of 2020, the company said in its press release.
GTT will design the LNG tanks of both units, each having a capacity of 173,400 m3. The insulation solutions retained are NO96 GW for the LNGC and NO96 for the FSRU.
The shipowner and shipyard's names remain confidential.
