Taganrog Sea Commercial Port earmarked $74,4 to support social programmes in 2017
Taganrog Commercial Seaport (TCSP, member of UCL Holding) in 2017 increased by 32% year-on-year funding of its employee benefits and social responsibility programme to USD 74 400.
The program funding included primarily compensation and benefits payments to the TCSP employees. In particular, the port operator provided benefits to unwed mothers, to large families, to the port industry veterans, and also extra financial aid to employees in need.
Besides, the company compensated its employees’ kids summer holidays in health, recreation camps, paid for child care facilities, and also financed a number of cultural and recreational activities for the TCSP employees.
In the reporting period, the company had made bonus payments to employees in the lead-up to the Sea and River Fleet Worker's Day celebration, and to those who celebrated their anniversary.
In addition, employees who were awarded the Veteran of Port Labour and Honored Worker of Port Labour also received financial rewards.
On the eve of the New Year holidays, the Company purchased boxes of sweets gifted to employees’ children and to kids of Taganrog State Orphanage № 3. Also New Years Eve gift baskets were delivered to oldest port employees, the veterans of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
The Company has been a sponsor for many years now of the city's public organizations. This year, TCSP took part in the "Under the Flag of Good!" initiative, which is aimed at targeted medical assistance to seriously ill children who need expensive treatment.
JSC Taganrog Commercial Sea Port" (part of the UCL Port, a stevedore division of the international transport group UCL Holding) is the main port and terminal operator at Russia’s southern Port of Taganrog. The company operates Berths No 1-5, 7 and 8.
