Repair of tanker "President Heydar Aliyev" of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company completed
The repair of the tanker "President Heydar Aliyev" belonging to the Transportation Fleet of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company has been completed.
According to ACSC, after repair at the “Zigh” ship repair and construction yard, the tanker was successfully passed sea trials and commissioned.
The hull and underwater parts of the tanker have been repaired and painted. Lifting works were carried out in cargo and ballast tanks.
At the same time, auxiliary engines were restored and new pumps installed. The electrical equipment of the vessel is completely modernized.
Repair of residential and office premises was also performed in accordance with modern standards.
"President Heydar Aliyev" vessel is one of the largest tankers belonging to the Transportation Fleet of the Caspian Shipping Company. The total carrying capacity of a tanker is 13.8 thousand tons, length is 149.9 meters and width is 17.3 meters.
The vessel is operated for the carriage of liquid cargo. Currently, two new tankers are being built at the Baku Shipyard based on new achievements in shipbuilding industry.
