On 27 December 2017, Pella shipyard launched two medium-sized refrigerator trawlers of Project 1701 for Murmansk based companies Eridan and Strelets, says the shipyard.
The ceremony was attended by Jury Parshev, Managing Director of JSC Eridan and JSC Strelets; Yekaterina Kolodkina, Deputy Managing Director for Economics and Planning of JSC Eridan and JSC Strelets; Vladimir Usenko, Project Manager of JSC Eridan and JSC Strelets; Dragan Badzek, Director of Navis Concept; management and personnel of the shipyard.
The vessels are designed for bottom and pelagic fishing and fish processing onboard.

Pella Shipyard based in Russia’s Leningrad region was founded in 1950. The shipyard specializes in construction of state-of-the-art multi-functional sea-going ships. One of company’s priorities is to renovate the obsolete fishing fleet of Russia. The shipyard can simultaneously build at least 8 sea-going ships per year with length between 50 m and 100 м and draught of up to 6 m, including Arctic class ships.
