Sovcomflot named a finalist in four different categories of the Platts Global Energy Awards 2017
Sovcomflot say it has been named a finalist at the international Platts Global Energy Awards 2017, promoted by the American information agency Platts, in four different award categories: Engineering Project of the Year (Cristophe de Margerie); Financial Deal of the Year (2016 Eurobonds and Eurobond tap in 2017); Industry Leadership – LNG; Industry Leadership – Midstream.
This is a record number of finalist positions in one year for SCF. In 2007, the company won the award for “Energy Transporter of the Year”. In 2008, 2009, 2010, 2016 Sovcomflot was a finalist at these prestigious international awards.
Candidates from different countries of the world take part in the competition, including Russian companies. The award evaluation criteria are operational and financial results, safety and quality indicators, the implementation of innovative technologies and compliance with environmental requirements and norms.
The winner is selected by an independent Jury drawn from industry representatives, heads of large energy companies, leading scientists and experts.
The winners will be announced on 7 December 2017 in New York City, USA.
