RF Navy's Corvette ‘Sovershenny’ conducted tests of the ship's hydroacoustic complexes
Project 20380 newest corvette ‘Sovershenny’, built at the Amur Shipyard for the Pacific Fleet, has successfully tested her sonar complexes, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
As part of the state tests, the corvette’s crew checked the efficiency of the ship's hydroacoustic complexes designed to cover the underwater situation, including searching for and detecting submarines, mines, torpedoes, and also submarine saboteurs at various distances and depths on the move, in drift and in staying at anchor.
In the coming days, the crew will be to conduct artillery fire at sea and coastal targets. In addition, overflights of the corvette by the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet are planned, including with landing of KA-27 helicopters on the ship's deck.
