BF Tanker put into operation thirteenth and fourteenth tankers of Project RST27
Okskaya Shipyard says it delivered the thirteenth and the fourteenth tankers of Project RST27, named Balt Flot 14 and Balt Flot 15, to its customer BF Tanker LLC on 6 June 2017.
Both tankers designed by Marine Engineering Bureau successfully passed all the trials.
RST27 project vessels of Volga-Don Max class meet the dimensions of the Volga-Don Ship Canal and Volga-Baltic Waterway. LOA - 140.85 m, beam - 16.6 m, depth - 6 m.
The tanker is designed for transportation of crude oil and oil products with no flash point, as well as chemical cargo.
The vessel’s main characteristics: capacity of six cargo tanks and two slop tanks – 8,100 cubic meters, sea / river DWT – 7,022/5,420 tonnes with draft of 4.2 / 3.6 m, operational speed – 11 knots, crew – 12, places – 14 + pilot.
In 2012 and in 2013 the vessel of project RST27 was listed among the Significant Ships in annual report published by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA).
