Trest Zapsibgidrostroy completed making a quay wall under Amur GPP project
Trest Zapsibgidrostroy has completed making a quay wall in the framework of Phase 1 of works on building a facility at the Zeya river for unloading of materials needed for construction of Amur Gas Prosessing Plant (Amur GPP). The wall stretching for 125.8 metres consists of 161 welded pipe piles (WPP) with total weight of 590 t, the company told IAA PortNews.
The next task is to drive 118 WPP and 58 anchor pile for a track-mounted crane ground.
The pile works commenced on 5 November 2016. The construction of the beach landing facility is to be completed in July 2017.
The Amur GPP with a design capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year is under construction near Svobodny in the Amur Region. The GPP will include the world’s largest helium production facility. The plant will be supplied via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline with multi-component gas from the Yakutia and Irkutsk gas production centers being set up by Gazprom as part of the Eastern Gas Program. 875 kilometers of Power of Siberia will run across the Amur Region.
