BPA inks MOU with KOSSA to prevent ocean pollution
Busan Port Authority stated that BPA signed an MOU with Korea Oil Supply Shipowner’s Association(KOSSA, chairman MUN Hyun-jae) on the 19th to prevent ocean pollution, the company said in its press release.
The MOU aims to prevent marine accidents by establishing close relationship between the two parties and communicating effectively.
In particular, the two organizations agreed that safety management of oil supply ships is crucial, hence they will engage in various measures to prevent marine accidents.
Furthermore, BPA plans to improve poor business environment of the oil supply industry at Busan Port and to create reasonable distribution system through advanced oil supply system.
