MOL announces Winter Surcharge for St Petersburg and Ust Luga
Due to the heavy weather and ice conditions prevailing in Russia during the winter season, which causes seasonal increases in the local tariffs, as well as increased vessel costs, MOL are implementing a Winter Surcharge for shipments to/from St Petersburg and Ust Luga.
The 2016/2017 Winter Surcharge (WNT) for St Petersburg and Ust Luga will be USD 100 per TEU.
The Winter Surcharge (WNT) is applicable for all container types on all MOL services to/from St. Petersburg and Ust Luga as from 01 December, 2016 (Bill of lading Date) and 11 December, 2016 (Gate in date) for Transatlantic trade (Europe-USEC and Europe-USWC).
