Rosmorport takes delivery of buoy tender Krutoyar (photo)
Buoy-inspection boat Krutoyar of Project 02780М arrives at Big Port St. Petersburg on August 26, 2016. The ceremonial delivery of the vessel to FSUE Rosmorport was held the same day, says Rosmorport.
Petrozavodsk, Karelia based Onezhsky Shipbuilding Ship Repair Yard contracted by FSUE Rosmorport for construction of two vessels of Project 02780М completed sea trials of the Krutoyar, the first serial ice-class buoy tender, in early August.
The boat will operate at the waters of Vyborg and Vysotsk seaports and at the approaches to them (North-West Basin Branch of FSUE Rosmorport.
The vessel launched on April 27, 2016 is intended for maintenance of navigational aids (ATON) to ensure safety of shipping in the waters of the country's seaports.
Key particulars: class - КМ Ice3 R3-RSN AUT3, LOA – 22.2 m, BOA – 6.6 m, navigational draft – about 1.5 m, speed – 10 knots, crew/personnel – 2/5, fuel range – 650 miles.
