Okskaya Shipyard to launch BF Tanker's 14th ship Balt Flot 15 on August 25 (photo)
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia based Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard (part of UCL Holding) scheduled the launching ceremony of the RST27 design Balt Flot 15, fourteenth tanker ordered by BF Tanker LLC, for August 25, 2016, the shipbuilding company said.
State Transport Leasing Company is the Lessor for the project.
The RST27 series vessel was designed by Marine Engineering Bureau. The The PST27 project was awarded two years in a raw by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, Significant Ships of 2012 and Significant Ships of 2013.
Vessels of Project RST27 have a record coefficient of fullness of displacement of 0.93, with the lead ship hitting test speed mark of 11.7 knots at shafts power reaching 2100 kW (0,875 of main engines power), forward / aft drafts: 3.2 / 3.3 meters.
The ceremonial launching will be attended by Okskaya Shipyard, the regional authorities, honored guests, as well as workers and the locals.
