Proposals of State Council on Russia's inland waterways should be thrashed out with all stakeholders, Vladimir Putin says
Following the results of the meeting of State Council in Volgograd devoted to Russia's inland waterways development President Vladimir Putin has tasked the ministries and agencies to discuss fully the proposals aired during the meeting of the Presidium of the State Council with all interested parties.
At the same time, Vladimir Putin highlighted that all the users of inland waterways should be clear about the state policy in this matter.
"It is important that all participants of economic activity could understand the trend, what we are going to do. Not dramatically, not rigidly, but that the government would act in such-and-such a way that all market participants were ready and prepare their plans in advance. And that is the most important thing. Secondly, we must, of course, to carry out all our plans," Putin was quoted as saying at the meeting in Volgograd.
