Seamen from Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan conducted firing at aerial and naval targets at the “Sea cup” contest
Naval crews of Russia, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan are summing up the results of two first stages of the “Sea cup” international contest, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
First, crews performed combat task: firing at aerial target. According to the scenario of the contest, aircraft of the simulated enemy dropped aviation bombs on ships. Ship crews are to eliminate aerial targets firing not more than 60 rounds.
During the second stage of the contest, military servicemen fired at a naval target. Firing was held with artillery gun systems at the distance of about 4,500 meters. They were to engage the target with 40 rounds.
Crews of Uglich missile ship (Russia), Oral artillery missile ship (Kazakhstan), and G-124 guard ship (Azerbaijan) have successfully accomplished the tasks and started preparing for the next stages.
