Multipurpose Reloading Complex (Ust-Luga) doubled the financing of its development programme
In the 1st half of 2016 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC, part of UCL Holding) in port of Ust-Luga (Leninngrad region) transferred 20.8 mln Rubles for the development of production capacities which exceeds twice the figures of the same period of the last year, says the company.
Main part of the funds was transferred for purchase of conveyor line from 9 wheel-mounted mobile conveyors (model LK-2512). Line with the production capacity of 1000 tons per hour and with length of 225 meters is used for transportation of power generating coal – main cargo of MRC – from rear part of the terminal to the berths.
Within the reporting period the company purchased also specialized devices for crane equipment.
For the purpose of technical re-equipment MRC transferred funds for purchase of two new two-leaf grabs (model GH 16-9.5) with the capacity of 9.5 m³ each which will be used for loading of the vessels and partially for discharge of railcars on the berth. Grabs are expected to be delivered to the terminal prior to the end of August.
In the 1st half of 2016 construction of new amenity buildings for employees was completed and new fire alarm system was fully installed. Besides within the reporting period the company performed topographical survey for designing of railway front and design works for modernization of the infrastructure of the berths.
LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (included in UCL Port- stevedoring division of the International transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in reception, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. Main cargo reloaded by the company is export power generating coal. In 2015 the turnover of LLC “MRC” amounted to 4.2 mln tons of cargo.
