Eighth 14000-teu boxship delivered to Seaspan
Seaspan Corporation has accepted delivery of the YM Width, the eighth vessel in a series of nine 14,000-teu containerships being built to fuel-efficient SAVER design. The vessel was built at CSBC Corporation, Taiwan ("CSBC").
Upon delivery the YM Width was chartered by Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. ("Yang Ming") to Seaspan Corporation under the ten-year, fixed-rate agreement with an option to extend the charter contract up to two years.
