Italian cruise liner Costa Victoria carrying almost 2,000 tourists from the Republic of Korea moored at the berth of the Passenger Terminal of Vladivostok at 13.00 (local time). As Roman Shchepov, deputy Director General of Eastern Russian Maritime Agency (ERMA) providing agency services to the Costa Victoria, told IAA PortNews, the ship will stay in the port till 24:00, May 18.
The ship numbers 772 crew members and 1,952 passengers, mostly citizens of the Republic of Korea. The liner came from port Sokcho (Republic of Korea). Then she will sail to port Muroran (Japan), make a voyage around the Japanese island, will return to Korea.
The Costa Victoria is one of 15 liners of Costa Crociere owned, in its turn by Carnival Corporation & PLC. The ship was built in 1996 and reconstructed in 2004. Her length is 252.9 m, width – 32.2 m, tonnage – 75.1, accommodation – 2,394 passengers and 780 crewmembers.
