Onega Shipyard (Karelia) launches buoy-inspection boat of Project 02780М (photo)
On April 27, 2016, Onega Shipyard (Petrozavodsk, Karelia) helld the ceremonial launching of a buoy-inspection boat Krutoyar of Project 02780М, says the shipyard.
The ceremony was attended by Karelia Republic Governor Aleksandr Khudilainen, FSUE Rosmorport Director General Andrei Tarasenko, representative of Karelia Legislative Assembly Nikolai Makarov, representative of Petrozavodsk Municipal Council Aleksei Yablokov, Director of Onega Shipyard Vladimir Maizus etc.
The vessel is intended for maintenance of aids to navigation ensuring safe shipping within the water areas of Russian seaports.
The vessel will be deployed by the North-West Basin Branch of Rosmorport.
Onega Shipyard was founded in 1944. The company is located on the shores of Lake Onega in Petrozavodsk, Russia. The shipyard specializes in the construction of bulk carriers, other merchant cargo ships and passenger vessels.
