Root section of south-eastern ice protection facility (SEIPF) including the artificial plot of land and coast protection has been completed in the framework of Phase 6 of the Project on Construction of Sabetta Seaport Facilities on the Yamal Peninsula Including Creation of a Navigable Access Channel in the Ob Bay (part of Marine Transport sub-programme of the Federal Targeted Programme Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010 – 2020). Rosmorrechflot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency) says the commission accepted the facilities on April 19-21.
FSUE Rosmorport is the project developer with Mezhregionstroiprovodstroi OJSC acting as a General Contractor.
The Project was developed in 2012-2013 to the order of JSC Yamal LNG. General Designer – JSC LENMORNIIPROEKT.
SEIPF is 3,825.1 meters long with its root section of 3,051.3 meters. The area of the artificial plot of land is 23 hectares.
The commission states the works have been done in time and with proper quality.
