Nikolai Monko appointed as Acting Head of Northern Sea Route Administration
Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) says Nikolai Monko has been appointed Acting Head of FSI Northern Sea Route Administration from April 1, 2016. The order was signed on March 29, 2016.
Nikolai Monko was born on January 2, 1954 in Ukraine.
In 1981 he graduated from the Arctic faculty of the Leningrad Higher Marine Engineering College named after Admiral Makarov.
Has been in the transport sector from 1981. From 1997 till 2004 – Nikolai Monko worked at the headquarteRS of the Ministry of Transport (Northern Sea Route Administration). From 2004 till May 2013 – Federal Marine and River Transport Agency.
From 2013 till 2015 – Northern Sea Route Administration, Deputy Head. From May 12, 2015 till March 31, 2016 – FiRSt Deputy to the Head of Northern Sea Route Administration.
Was deeply involved in establishment of Northern Sea Route Administration, elaboration of its website, development of materials for arranging of Northern Sea Route navigation.
