Pacific Fleet ship detachment was put into combat service in the Pacific Ocean
The Pacific Fleet ship detachment (Admiral Vinogradov major ASW ship, Fotiy Krylov rescue vessel, and Irkut tanker) under the leadership of Captain I rank Alexander Potapov has left Vladivostok, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The detachment is to demonstrate the Russian Navy Flag in water zones of the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
The ships will pay unofficial visits to ports of 5 countries and participate in two multinational exercises of the Asian-Pacific region held in the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
