Gazpromneft Marine Bunker sold 3.7 mln t of fuel in 2015 (photo)
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker, operator of the Gazprom Neft bunkering business, says its bunker sales in 2015 totaled 3.7 mln t including 3.1 mln t of on-board bunkering.
According to the statement, the share of Gazpromneft Marine Bunker in Russian bunkering market is 21%, which makes it the leading company in the market.
In the North-West region which is within SECA from 2015, the company has reinforced its position as a supplier of ultra low sulphur fuel having occupied 20% of this product market.
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker has significantly reinforced its position in the market of the Black Sea region. A new bunkering vessel, the Gazpromneft Omsk, which joined the company’s fleet in April, marked the beginning of a large scale reconstruction of Novorossiysk terminal. With this, bunker sales in the region increased by 18%, year-on-year, making the company a leader in the regional market.
Gazpromneft Marine Bunker, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, was established in 2007 to provide year-round supplies of marine fuel and oils for sea and river vessels. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker currently has eight regional offices and six subsidiary companies. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker operates in main sea ports of Russia (Nakhodka, Vladivostok, Vostochny, Posyet, Zarubino, Kozmino, Sakhalin, Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Kavkaz port, Taman, Sochi, St Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Primorsk, Kaliningrad, Baltiysk, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk) as well as river ports (St Petersburg, Azov, Yaroslavl, Sheksna, Nizhny Novgorod, Cherepovets, Kazan, Samara, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Olya port, Rostov-on-Don, Ust-Kut, Nizhnekamsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk) and international ports including Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia), and Constanta (Romania).
