Vice Admiral Kulakov major ASW ship of the Northern Fleet held antisubmarine exercise
Vice Admiral Kulakov major ASW ship of the Northern Fleet held antisubmarine exercise, says press center of RF Defence Ministry. The ship is performing tasks in Russian Navy operational grouping in the Mediterranean Sea.
In particular, mine-torpedo crew of the ship practiced using anti-submarine weapons in order to repel attack of the simulated submarine.
Long range trip of Vice Admiral Kulakov major ASW ship has been held since October 23, 2015. The ship has already passed about 20,000 miles.
The ship crew has also taken part in the Arabian Monsoon – 2015 exercise.
