Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port increased transshipment of fish by 134.4% to 276,900 t in 11M’15
In January-November 2015, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 276,900 t of fish cargo (+134.4%, year-on-year), the stevedoring company said.
In November, the company handled 35,700 t of fish cargo (+67.9%).
Transshipment and storing of fish products are the key activities of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port.
In January-November, the company handled 541,700 t of dry bulk cargo, 117,909 TEUs of containerized cargo and 271,600 t of metal scrap.
In the reported period, the company handled 665 vessels and 23,968 wagons.
The company earlier announced its plan to handle 200,000 t of fish products in 2015, thus its plan has already been exceeded by 76,900 t.
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is the universal reloading complex on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The berthing line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 9 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day.
