RF Government looks into construction of compact FNPPs able to move along rivers
RF Government is looking into a possible construction of compact floating nuclear power plants (FNPPs) able to move along rivers, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, as saying during his visit to Baltiysky Zavod in Saint-Petersburg.
According to him, floating nuclear power plants could be used to supply power to Arctic ports and settlements.
