About 70 warships of RF Navy met the new training year while performing tasks in different areas of the world ocean
On December 1, 2015, ships, submarines, units and formations of the Northern, Pacific Ocean, Black Sea and Baltic Fleet met the new training year, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
About 70 warships of the Russian Navy met the new training year while performing tasks in different areas of the world ocean.
According to the Russian Navy Main Command, the special attention will be paid to the training of interservice troops and forces, practical training with participation of ship formations in 2016.
Crews of Kolpino and Veliky Novgorod project 636.3 submarines will attend training course. The submarines will be put into service in 2016.
The servicemen are attending training course to master Admiral Makarov Guards ship, Gromky corvette, Ivan Khurs special vessel, George Kurbatov mine defence ship, and five Grachonok-series anti-sabotage motor boats.
Russian naval aviation will be equipped with more than 10 aircraft and about 20 modernized helicopters Ka-27.
Next year ships, vessels and units of the Russian Navy will participate in international naval contests of the International Army Games.
Servicemen from 20 countries are supposed to take part in these contests.
