Major ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov of the Northern Fleet entered the Strait of Aden
Major ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov of the Northern Fleet has entered the Strait of Aden performing tasks in the off-shore ocean zone, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The crew members conduct counterterrorist trainings and exercises every day.
Today they practiced actions on liberating a captured vessel. Particular attention was focused on rapid and safe movement of groups of marines on the upper deck as well as usage of small arms inside.
Pilots of Ka-27 helicopters performed deck takeoffs and landings at different modes of ship movement.
Now the ship is passing the Strait of Aden. In total, the Vice Admiral Kulakov ship has covered over 7 thousand miles since the start of the cruise on October 23.
