RT Kuri Bay launched at the ASL Shipyard in Singapore
RT Kuri Bay was successfully launched at the ASL Shipyard in Singapore, Kotug said in its press release. The vessel is the 2nd of three Infield Support Vessels (ISV) being built to support the Shell Prelude Floating LNG Project. RT Kuri Bay is expected to be delivered along with RT Beagle Bay and RT Roebuck Bay in 2016.
The launch of the vessel also marked another big celebration as the team reached one million man hours without any lost time injuries (LTI). This significant achievement is the result of the efforts of the KT Maritime teams both on site and in the offices, combined with the support of Shell Australia to drive ‘Safety First.’
KT Maritime Services Australia, a marine towage services provider, is a joint venture established by KOTUG and Teekay Shipping Australia. KT Maritime will provide marine towage solutions to the Australian energy and resources sectors.
