CTSP allocations for implementation of social and enviromental program up 45% to RUB 6.1 mln in 9M’15
In January-September 2015 “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” (CTSP) spent 6,1 million rubles (45% more than in the same period last year) on implementation of corporate social and environmental programs.
2,1 million rubles were spent on the activities aimed to reduce negative impact on environment, including 1,1 million on water resources protection: wastewater treatment, maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations of stormwater sewers.
1 million rubles was spent on environmental monitoring, removal and disposal of production and consumer waste and development of compulsory environmental documents.
4 million rubles were spent on social support, including 2,1 million on leisure, health care and sanatorium treatment of the personnel and 962 thousand on financial support of the employees in difficult straits, retirement payments and payments to families with newborn babies. Additional payments were made to sole parents and employees with large families. 274 thousand rubles were distributed among long-service employees and employees celebrating anniversaries.
Besides, practice was organized for students of Makarov University of Sea and River Fleet in CTSP Service Center.
Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (member of UCL Port, stevedoring division of international transportation group UCL Holding) is a modern container handling facility in the Fourth District of the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg. In 2014 the terminal handled 387,6k TEU.
