Zavod Hydromekhanizatsii delivers technical design of 700 cbm/h dredger to RechVodPut (photo)
CJSC Zavod Hydromekhanizatsii has delivered the technical design of a non-self-propelled dredger with the capacity of 700 cbm/h, developed under the contract on Renovation of Service Fleet within the framework Federal Targeted Programme “Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2020), the Company says.
According to the statement, it is the first design of this class dredgers from the Soviet times. The design features a number of state-of-the-art solutions allowing for construction of high efficiency dredgers for inland water ways of Russia.
Closed joint stock company Zavod Hydromekhanizatsii (Hydromec) is a vertically integrated shipbuilding enterprise, comprising metallurgical, fabrication and machining divisions. The Hydromec shipyard builds dredgers with pumping capacity ranging 100 to 8,000 cmb / hour and depths of up to 35 m. Since 1950, the company has manufactured more than 1,250 dredgers of different types and designs.
