INMEX SMM India conference program updated
Conference agenda of INMEX SMM India 2015 has been updated, the event organiser Informa Exhibitions reported. The event will be hosted in Mumabai, September 23-25, 2015, the Bombay Exhibition Centre.
INMEX SMM India is the merger of two mega maritime events – INMEX India and SMM India.
The event is expected to be South Asia’s largest platform for the shipping world. Global maritime event organisers Hamburg Messe and Informa Exhibitions have merged their largest shipping events into a single consolidated show, making INMEX SMM India the place to be this September.
The event has got support from India’s apex shipping chamber – The Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, apart from other key government associations including the Indian National Ship-owners Association, Shipyards Association of India, and the Indian Register of Shipping. The esteemed Director General of Shipping, Mr. Deepak Shetty, IRS, Director General of Shipping, Govt of India, inaugurates the show at 10am on 23rd September followed by an opening address at the conference on the vital Sagar Mala initiative.
The three-day show will attract more than 7,000 industry visitors. Delegations are expected from the Indian Navy, the Indian Coast Guard, key shipping companies, ship builders and designers, port authorities, offshore and rig companies, ship management companies, and other maritime industries. The show is set to host a plethora of international country pavilions, with Norway and China returning again this year and new comers Taiwan, Denmark, France and Germany hoping to tap in to India’s burgeoning maritime sector. Visitors can expect to see the latest innovative advancements within shipyards, ship building and repair, port technology, ocean engineering solutions, marine offshore technology, marine equipment, dredging solutions and design innovations.
