Kola Flotilla takes part in Northern Fleet command-and-staff exercise
Kola Flotilla minesweeping group of the Northern Fleet, including Yadrin and Kolomna minesweepers, made a passage for surface forces from permanent bases, RF Defence Ministry’s press center says.
Admiral Ushakov destroyer and Vice Admiral Ushakov major ASW ship left Severomorsk in order to avoid aviation attack of the simulated enemy.
The ships followed the minesweepers and moved to the concentration areas in Barents Sea.
This was the first stage of the Northern Fleet command-and-staff exercise.
