Port of Odessa (Ukraine) welcomes Star Pride for the second time this season (photo)
Cruise ship Star Pride (flag of Bagamas) has moored at Berth No 15 of Odessa port’s passenger complex today, September 10, 2015. According to the port authorities, it is the ship’s second call to Odessa over the cruise season of 2015.
Star Pride arrived from the Turkish port of Bartin (Turkey) with 166 passengers on board, mostly US citizens, says Vladimir Basyuk, representative of the agency company.
The ship is to leave for Constanta (Romania) at 17:00.
Odessa Commercial Sea Port operates in one of the largest ports of the Black-Azov Sea Basin. Technical facilities of the port allow handling of more than 14 million tonnes of dry cargoes and 14 million tonnes of liquid cargoes annually. The port’s passenger terminal accepts vessels of up to 300 meters in length. In 2014, throughput of Odessa Commercial Sea Port climbed by 6.1%, year-on-year, to 24.5 mln tonnes.
