MPI Workboats steps up presence in Sheringham Shoal windfarm
Following a successful first half to the year for MPI Workboats, the company has recently increased its presence on the Sheringham Shoal windfarm, the company said in its press release. The newest additions to the fleet – BV Class 22m vessels MPI Snowball and MPI Napoleon - have joined two of our 19m vessels for a return to this windfarm. Here we have secured a long-term crew-transfer vessel solution working for Scira Offshore during Operations and Maintenance for the next three years.
The excellent all-round ability of the vessels, with their shallow draft, facilitates easy access to the challenging harbour of Wells next the Sea. This, combined with the positive and flexible attitude of our MPIW Team, proved major factors in securing these contracts.
