Aleksandr Potapov to supervise shipbuilding issues at Ministry of Industry and Trade
Aleksandr Potapov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, will replace Andrei Dutov as a supervisor of shipbuilding issues, a source in the Ministry told IAA PortNews.
Upon recommendations of the Ministry, RF Government has recently appointed Andrei Dutov a Director General of the Zhukovsky Institute National Research Centre.
The Centre has been created as a federal state budgetary institution with the functions and powers of founder vested in the Government on behalf of the Russian Federation. The Centre aims to expand scientific and technological cooperation between organisations in the aviation industry and other industries in order to develop and use innovations to improve the competitiveness of Russian products and services.
The Centre’s goals: organising and conducting research work, developing new technologies in priority areas of aviation engineering, rapidly finding industrial applications for research results, and making use of scientific achievements in aviation for the purposes of economic development.
