Chibis-class coast guard patrol boat of project 21850 (hull No 02128) built by Vympel Shipyard (Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Region) was has been launched today, August 18, 2015. According to the shipyard, the boat No 02127 launched on August 4 is currently undergoing mooring trials. Her sea trials will commence on August 24.
Boat No 02126 is nearing the acceptance tests.
Boats No 02126, 02127, 02128 will join the fleet of Russia’s FSB Border Service in Kalmykia and Astrakhan Region. The acceptance/delivery certificates are to be signed on September 1.
Boats of project 21850 No 02124 (launched on June 24) and No 02125 (launched on June 30) have been dispatched by railway to FSB Border Service in Rostov-on-Don.
