French shipping group's 8,478teu boxship CMA CGM Vivaldi calls at Canadian Port of Halifax
The CMA CGM Group's 8478-TEU, 334-metre long container ship CMA CGM Vivaldi on Monday, August 3 moored at Halterm International Container Terminal, Port of Halifax based in Nova Scotia, Canada, local media reported.
The vessel call was made after Port of Halifax was added to ports rotation on the French shipping group's Columbus Loop, Canada-South China-Malaysia service.
The port also expects arrival of another boxship of CMA CGM, the 8750-TEU Budapest Express, which will call at the Ceres terminal in Halifax on AZX service of G6 Alliance which also added Halifax to its rotation on Asia Suez Express service, providing direct link from Asia to the East Coast of North America.
