Iran-Oman subsea gas pipeline engineering to start soon
The contract of the project to carry out basic and FEED engineering of the sub-sea pipeline to transfer Iranian gas to Oman will take effective within the next two weeks, IranOilGas reported citing a source familiar with the matter.
Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) has been selected to carry out the above-said project. Seemingly the relevant construction and installation stages of the project are likely to be also taken up by the same company and carried out subsequently.
The scope of work of the project is basic engineering for a gas booster station at Kuh Mobarak, a metering station, sub-sea route survey and 200 km sub-sea gas pipeline from Kuh Mobarak to Oman Sohar port.
