Vladimir Putin supports idea of setting up separate state subprogramme on engine manufacturing (photo)
RF President Vladimir Putin supports the idea of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to set up a separate state subprogramme that would be part of the overall state defence industry development programme. According to the transcript from the working meeting of Vladimir Putin and Dmitry Rogozin, the programme will be ready by December, 2015.
The idea is to combine engine-making technology used in the shipbuilding and aircraft manufacturing sectors to save money and plan production of a full range of engine models, from 9 to 35 tonnes.
