Crowley promotes Brown to VP of Information Technology
Crowley Maritime Corporation appointed Brad Brown as Vice President of information technology. He will remain based in Jacksonville and continue to report to Carl Fox senior vice president, corporate services, the company said in a news release.
As vice president of IT, Brown is now responsible for the teams managing network infrastructure and operations, end-user support, voice and data communications, technology sourcing and delivery, information security, process engineering and business solutions.
Brown joined Crowley in 2001 and has worked for multiple lines of business as well as information technology in a variety of roles during his tenure. In his most recent position, Brown led the business solutions group, which was responsible for aligning IT projects and resources to the Company’s business objectives. He graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BBA in accounting in 1986, and earned a MBA and a BS in Information Systems from the University of North Florida in 1995.
