CIMC Raffles deliveres two 50,000 semisubmersible heavy lift vessels
On 17th July 2015, CIMC Raffles delivered two 50,000 semisubmersible heavy lift vessels separately to United Faith Group and Zhenhua Heavy Industries, the company said in its press release.
With the concept design completed by United Faith Group and basic design completed by SDARI, construction was accomplished by CIMC Raffles. Classed by ABS, its total length is 216 meters, molded breadth is 43 meters, depth molded is 13.35 meters, designed draft is 10 meters, goods deck dive depth is 13 meters and design speed is 13.5 knots.8 offshore platforms were sent to the whole world by this kind of semisubmersible heavy lift vessel.
Their localization rate can be reached to 87%. Sea trial lasted separately 16 days and 13 days. All local device and equipment worked in a great condition during the sea trial.
