Marchwood Industrial Park sale completed
On June 24, ABP completed the purchase of Marchwood and Cracknore Hard Industrial Estates, ABP says. ABP had an offer for the site accepted in December and today marks the completion of the sale.
Nick Ridehalgh, ABP Director, Southampton, said: “Our intention is to continue to develop the estates to support the businesses operating from them. These businesses and the thousands of people they employ directly contribute to the economic success of the Port of Southampton and the wider region."
The estates are located on the southern side of Southampton water, opposite the Port of Southampton, accessed via the A326 Marchwood bypass which links into the A35, and are six miles from the M271.
Marchwood Industrial Park was previously owned by Oceanic Estates Limited. Among the companies with warehouses, distribution facilities and offices on the 120-acre park are Ocado, Royal Mail, LaFarge, Biffa, ATS Euromaster, Elliott Group and Veolia.
