World’s largest cruise ship launched in France (photo)
On June 19, 2015, STX Les Chantiers de l’Atlantique (Saint-Nazaire, France) launched the world’s largest cruise ship Harmony of the Seas.
The third Oasis class ship will leave for mooring trials in February 2016. Cruise company Royal Caribbean which ordered the ship has scheduled the maiden voyage for April 2016.
Characteristics of the ship: length - 361 m, width – 60 m, depth – 72 m, displacement – about 80,000 t. The vessel has 16 decks and 2,747 cabins able to accommodate up to 5,479 passengers.
