Alain Bernard (DEME) wins the Vlerick Award 2015
Tonight Alain Bernard, CEO of DEME, has won the Vlerick Award 2015. The audience – who was able to vote both via internet as well as live at the event – chose him, because he led his company as business leader in its market segment with sustained results to the top.
The central theme this year was "Legacy & Promise": each of the nominees runs a company with a proud history and valuable legacy that must be safeguarded. At the same time, the company must also continue to develop and grow in order to fulfill the promise of the future.
Almost 400 alumni, former winners and nominees, and VIPs attended the 15th Vlerick Award that took place on Thursday June 4th at Hotel Le Plaza in Brussels. The other nominees were:
Bernard Delvaux (SONACA)
Dominique Leroy (Proximus)
Koen Van Gerven (bpost)
