CIMC Raffles self-designed semisubmersible accommodation platform CR600 cut its first steel in Haiyang Shipyard
On 2nd June, CR600, the semisubmersible accommodation platform self-designed by CIMC Raffles, cut its first steel in Haiyang Shipyard, the company said in its press release.
CR600 is classed by ABS, with total length of 106.45m, width of 68.9m, accommodation for 600 and deck area of 3,500 square meters. Equipped with DP3 dynamic positioning system, CR600 can be operated in most sea areas except for Norwegian North Sea. CR600 is the third wholly self-designed deepwater semisubmersible platform by CIMC Raffles. Two semisubmersible accommodation and lifting vessels have been working for Petrobras in Brazil since April 2014.
