Radio Holland concludes 13-vessel service agreement with BW Fleet Management
Radio Holland, part of Imtech Marine, has concluded a service agreement with leading tanker, gas and offshore maritime group BW Fleet Management (BWFM), the company said in its press release. The two-year agreement covers all the navigation and communication equipment onboard 13 LPG vessels. Radio Holland also provides remote support for these vessels. This week Radio Holland is present at the Nor-Shipping event in Oslo (Norway) at booth B02-36.
BWFM has technical responsibility for more than 50 vessels including Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), Long Range 1 product tankers (LR 1s), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carriers.
Imtech Marine’s Radio Holland brand and personnel, known for their navigation/communication expertise, provide 24/7 worldwide service and support. The office in Oslo coordinates the operation with BW Fleet Management.
This latest agreement follows a long-established relationship of some 15 years. Radio Holland has been providing support for the company’s Long-Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) systems and GMDSS equipment.
Currently, Radio Holland is in the process of evaluating all the navigation and communication equipment on the 13 vessels so it can guide and advise BWFM about any upgrades or replacements that need to be carried out in the near future.
