COSCON strengthen the feeder network via Piraeus
COSCON is to further strengthen the feeder network via Piraeus by launching new Piraeus-Turkey-Black Sea- Express (TBX) weekly service in the middle of May 2015, the shipping company said in its news release.
Rotation: Piraeus - Istanbul (Kumport) - Novorossisk-Constantza - Varna - Istanbul (Kumport) - Thessaloniki - Piraeus. Two vessels of 1,500-1,700 teu are to be deployed jointly with YM.
COSCON has been so far running two independent feeder services.
AGT: Piraeus - Rijeka - Koper - Venice - Ancona - Piraeus - Thessalonik - Istanbul(Kumport) -Haydapasa - Yilport - Izmir - Piraeus, deployed 3 x 1200teu vessels providing weekly service.
PNX: Piraeus-Naples-Piraeus, deployed 1 x 1000teu vessel providing weekly service.
In addition, COSCON could offer nine weekly calls at Piraeus by its Asia-Med/North Europe main services.
Based on the main loops and feeder network, COSCON could provide efficient connections and wide coverage via strategic hub Piraeus to/from North Europe, East Med, West Med, Black Sea, Adriatic Sea, North Africa and all other potential areas.
