Alena Igumnova appointed as Acting Director General of United Grain Company
Alena Igumnova (earlier Ashurkova) has been appointed Acting Director General of United Grain Company, says press center of UGC OJSC.
The decision was taken by UGC BoD on December 12, 2014. Alena Igumnova assumes office from January 12, 2015.
In December 2013 Alena Igumnova was appointed as Deputy Director General of Global Ports. Earlier, she was the President of National Container Company (NCC, 2006-2013). In 2002-2006, she held the posts of Chief Financial Expert of First Quantum and NCC Vice-President on Development and Investments. In 1998-2002, she was Development and Investment Director of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg OJSC. Besides, Alena Igumnova worked in investment financial companies Sovlink, Alliance-Menatep, Deloitte & Touche etc. She graduated from the Moscow State University with specialization in international economic relations and financial analysis. Has an academic degree.
