RWE Supply & Trading joins the Pan8 Pool
Navig8 welcomes RWE SUPPLY & TRADING GMBH into the Pan8 pool with their vessel MV Dione (75,172 DWT 2001 built), the company said in its press release.
Pool participation by RWE represents Navig8's further engagement with one of the world’s most sophisticated energy traders. RWE trades over 700 million tonnes of physical and financial coal per annum globally and manage a fleet of vessels and derivative positions to hedge their natural freight exposure. Revenue and risk pooling with Navig8 provides another instrument for traders to manage freight risk.
Whilst partners such as RWE may contribute vessels to the pool, the ongoing information exchange between the platform and partner is of particular value to both sides
